What began as a small specialized company for hard chrome plating has evolved into a modern specialist facility with over 2,000 m² of production space – deeply rooted in the region and always looking forward.
In 1967, Karl-Heinz Beck founded the company Hartchrom-beck in Stockheim. Even then, it was clear: meeting the highest demands for quality and durability requires a passion for technology – and closeness to the customer.
Two years later, the business moved to Güglingen-Frauenzimmern, where we continue to refine metal surfaces using state-of-the-art technology and profound expertise – reliably, precisely, and sustainably.
In 2002, the sole proprietorship became a GmbH (limited liability company). However, our conviction has never changed: Quality is the result of experience, diligence, and a team you can rely on.

As a certified specialist company in German electroplating, we hold the quality seal of the Federal Guild Association (Bundesinnungsverband) and are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

Our services go far beyond pure chrome plating:
We also handle the pre-grinding and finish grinding of your workpieces to ensure optimal surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Additionally, with our precise cylindrical grinding, we ensure perfect cylindrical shapes, ideally matched to your technical requirements.

At Hartchrom-beck GmbH, responsibility doesn't end with the product – it begins with the process.
Our entire process water is fully treated and reused internally in our own water treatment plant.
This means: Not a single liter of process water is discharged into public waters. We operate on a zero-liquid-discharge basis – and are thus not only legally compliant but also consciously future-oriented and resource-efficient.
What this means in concrete terms:
- All rinsing water from the electroplating process is kept in closed-loop systems.
- State-of-the-art filtration and treatment ensure that we produce without any wastewater discharge.
- By doing so, we actively protect our environment and significantly reduce our water consumption.
Clean Air – Out of Responsibility for Our Employees
In our production facilities, we rely on more than just the minimum legal requirements.
By using a specialized air filtration system (filter tower), we specifically ensure additional air purification within our halls.
The filter tower filters fine particles and airborne substances from the room, ensuring measurably better air quality – independent of the already regulated processes at the equipment. This serves not only general hygiene but, above all, the protection and well-being of our employees.
